Welcome to the Min Dongiso639-3 Wikipedia!

→ Introduction of Eastern Min (Min Dong)

This page is specially designed for non-Min-Dong speakers to discuss anything related to the Min Dong Wikipedia. You can also request assistance here. In principle, messages can be given in any language, but we prefer Chinese, English or other major languages.

Requests for the bot flag should be made on Wikipedia:Gĭ-ké-nè̤ng. This wiki uses the standard bot policy, and allows global bots and automatic approval of certain types of bots. Other bots should apply on that page.

The Min Dong Wikipedia is written in both Foochow Romanized (Bàng-uâ-cê) and Chinese characters (Háng-cê). For detailed information, please refer to Help:如何讀 (Chinese only at present). Some letters might be incorrectly displayed on your computer unless you install Charis SIL font (free).

If you are new here, we encourage you to open an account. After that, please write something on your userpage to introduce yourself. Babel userboxes in your userpage will tell us what languages you speak and their level of fluency (i.e., {{User en}}, {{User zh-3}}, etc. Only some major languages are available currently; others are still being made). If you have little knowledge about Min Dong, you can also add {{User cdo-0}}.

If you want any articles translated into Min Dong, feel free to tell us here; we are glad to help.

RfC regarding "Interlinking of accounts involved with paid editing to decrease impersonation"[Gāi nguòng-mā]

There is currently a RfC open on Meta regarding "requiring those involved with paid editing on Wikipedia to link on their user page to all other active accounts through which they advertise paid Wikipedia editing business."

Note this is to apply to Wikipedia and not necessarily other sister projects, this is only to apply to websites where people are specifically advertising that they will edit Wikipedia for pay and not any other personal, professional, or social media accounts a person may have.

Please comment on meta. Thanks. Send on behalf of User:Doc James.

Consultation on the creation of a separate user group for editing sitewide CSS/JS[Gāi nguòng-mā]

New user group for editing sitewide CSS/JS[Gāi nguòng-mā]

Editing of sitewide CSS/JS is only possible for interface administrators from now[Gāi nguòng-mā]

(請協助翻譯成您使用的語言)

Hi all,

as announced previously, permission handling for CSS/JS pages has changed: only members of the interface-admin (介面管理員) group, and a few highly privileged global groups such as stewards, can edit CSS/JS pages that they do not own (that is, any page ending with .css or .js that is either in the MediaWiki: namespace or is another user's user subpage). This is done to improve the security of readers and editors of Wikimedia projects. More information is available at Creation of separate user group for editing sitewide CSS/JS. If you encounter any unexpected problems, please contact me or file a bug.

Thanks!
